TCC Virtual Commencement
When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and the college shut down for in-person activities, we still wanted our students to be able to celebrate their achievements with family and friends. Here's the TCC version of translating the normal in-person version of the classic commencement exercises into a video format.
After receiving an outrageous quote for an inferior production from an external vendor, I decided that we could do better than that at no extra expense to the college, so Visual Communications produced the entire project internally. We filmed most everyone in the TCC studio, making special effort to space out the production schedule to be as safe as possible while respecting all the COVID protocols.
Fun Fact: The opening title animation of the TCC Seal was so complex it had to be rendered in pieces on three different computers at the same time to hit the deadline.
