TCC Visual Arts Center Windows

TCC's Visual Arts Center is moving to a new, state of the art facility in the Harbor Heights building in the heart of Downtown Norfolk. I was asked to design wraps to cover 70+ street-level windows of the building, spanning an entire city block. I decided to feature each of the major programs the facility will be offering, along with imagery associated with each program. The challenges for this project were managing and assembling all the measurements for each window so the sign shop could print the wraps correctly and everything would line up properly, and also sourcing photos that were descriptive of the program, diverse, and would also hold up to being printed four feet tall.

Each program was split diptych or triptych style to fit between windows of all different sizes.

All the of the programs of study are listed in the background as a subtle texture.

Several of the windows facing Boush Street.

The secondary entrance to the building.
